Tools for the decolonization of technology is an open space for reflection around what it means to incorporate the anti-racist movement into the digital scene. That is why we invite you next February 10th at 6pm at this face-to-face meeting the Ateneu d’Innovació Digital i Democràtica El Canòdrom.

The goal of the conversation on February 10th and of the following activities and contents is to present to organisations and individuals tools and examples of what  has been done and what is being done at the moment to increase the presence of people of colour in the digital environment, not as consumers, but as creators.

In addition, we will have the presence of Algorace, a new project born to explain how the use of artificial intelligence affects migrant and/or racialized bodies. Paula Guerra and Youssef M. Ouled will explain their next steps towards the de(racialization) of AI and there will be a small debate to talk about the importance of including an anti-racist perspective that provides different solutions from marginalised communities.
