Strategies for a more decolonized technology

3 May 12:00 - 19:30

Building on the progress made on the line of work Tools for the decolonization of technology, another session arrives which, under the title Strategies for a more decolonized technology, aims to analyse the recommendations that different groups have published or expressed in recent years on this matter. It will be discussed from different perspectives such as how digital rights must be, data or the inclusion of diversity for a more responsible technology.

This analysis may serve as a guide for those anti-racist and human rights organisations that want to incorporate the digital and decolonial perspective into their agenda. Also to people who, at an individual level, may be interested in knowing where technology is going from other  types of practices and narratives.
